Chili Garlic Chicken Skewers with Yogurt Dip
Just a great way to prepare and enjoy grilled chicken. The sauce really makes it.

- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp olive oil divided
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp chili garlic paste
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp fresh ground black pepper
- lime wedges for serving optional
The Dip
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp snipped chives
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 lime juiced
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
The Dip
- Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until creamy and combined. Cover and refrigerate.
The Skewers
- Add the chicken pieces to a baking dish or large resealable plastic bag. In a bowl, whisk together the oil, honey, garlic paste, salt and pepper until combined. Pour it over the chicken and mix until all of the chicken is covered. Place in the fridge and marinate for at least 2 hours or even overnight.
- Soak a few bamboo skewers in water (or use stainless steel skewers like we do). Skewer 4 to 5 chicken pieces on 2 skewers each (this makes it easier to flip the chicken while grilling). Spray your grill with canola oil or some other high heat cooking oil then heat it over medium-high heat. Add the chicken skewers and cook on each side for 4 to 5 minutes, until cooked through. Serve immediately with the yogurt sauce and extra lime wedges.
