Just know that it’s a wonderful way to cook a tasty chicken dish.
So, smoked Elk. This was our first time making this absolutely amazing cut of meat. The roast is lean and tasty and any gamey-ness is offset by the smoking process.
Beef Tri-Tip is one of our favorite cuts to roast or smoke. The recipe for roasting is the same as smoking and you can even to it on indirect heat on the grill, but it make take a bit more attention.
Trust me on this one, you’re gonna love it, and so will everyone else you feed it to.
It’s delicious and fairly easy, especially if you have some smoking experience.
The thing that’s special about this recipe is, well, it tastes amazing and if fairly easy to do, even for a novice smoker. I used a Big Green Egg for my cook on this, but there’s no reason you couldn’t use any good smoker (a good smoker is one that keeps a constant temperature well).
